2019 Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic: Fashion & Style

The first weekend in June 2019 belongs to the 12th Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic which takes place in Jersey City, NJ at Liberty State Park. What is the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic? It is an event where the most fashionable and stylish people gather to drink champagne and enjoy equestrian athletes play polo.

Okay so I have to be honest, I had no idea that the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic existed until about a month and a half ago. I did not know what to expect attending this event but I am so glad that I did. I saw so much fashion and style in one place! It felt like I was in heaven lol! Most importantly, I saw lots of colorful clothing against melanin skin. Everyone there was dressed so nicely that I was in complete awe every step and turn of the venue! It was an amazing sight to see. Plus, I saw my first polo tournament and it was really entertaining!

Of course, everyone took advantage of the location’s scenery and had mini-photoshoots that were breathtaking. I mean how could you not? It was the perfect time for a photoshoot!

Michael B. Jordan looks great in every outfit that he wears! Okay so I might be a bit biased because I have a mini crush on him but the man does look good in everything. His navy blue suit plays well with the Veuve Clicquot color scheme.

These two beauties are wearing gorgeous, orange gowns that exude royalty at its best. The orange color looks amazing against their melanated skin. Exemplification of natural beauty in the purest form. These beauties have the cutest handbags!

The “highlight” of the event was found amongst these two friends. It’s no doubt that highlighter colors are in this spring/summer season. The highlighter green and orange colors made you stop and revel in the swanky style that these two exuded with their two-piece outfits. As you can see they both accessorized their outfits with a see-through Fendi handbag and black cross-body bag. They were literally LIT!

A woman is always “Pretty in Pink” whether it is a splash or full length color. This beautiful woman looked absolutely gorgeous in her pink jumpsuit with a matching pink, feathery flowered hat. I am really loving her hat! It really makes her outfit pop!

Classic black and white with a pop of red never fails! She really killed this look! Her outfit is really unique and classy. Of course, I am in love with her hat and sunglasses! I love accessories in general because they are the keys to really making your outfit.

I plan to attend the next Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic event and I am looking forward to seeing a wide array of fashion and style again!
