The Orange Wrap Shirt

Here we are in week two of October and I haven’t seen “Fall” yet….where art thou? It is still scorching hot during the day so I guess “Fall” hasn’t caught up with the season change yet. Even though the season change is not fully here, we can start transitioning wardrobe colors into the “Fall” season.

Orange is one of my favorite colors to wear because it is so festive and stands out. Of course, this color is highly common in the fall season especially with all of the pumpkin patches throughout the countryside. I couldn’t resist buying this orange wrap shirt from Forever 21 because I knew I could wear it with different outfits. Sidenote: When shopping for clothes, think about how you can pair that one item with something else before going through with your purchase.

Also, begin incorporating hues of orange into your wardrobe. This color really makes it feel like “Fall” to me and it always makes me think of a Pumpkin Spice Latte (which is really yummy).

I am a big stickler on mixing something old with something new because the best outfits come from this combination. I have a pair of black and white floral print high-waist pants that I wore once two years ago and I randomly pulled these out of my closet to pair with my orange wrap shirt. Since my top was really bright, I wanted to tone it down at the bottom.

Of course, I had to wear black tassel earrings with my outfit! I love any color of tassel earrings because they really jazz up any outfit that I wear. I bought these from Forever 21 for $6 and wear them often (probably more than I should). Forever 21 usually has some really cute accessories for minimal cost and you can leave the store without feeling guilty for purchasing them.

The moral of this fashion and style lesson is to combine your old and new pieces, distribute your bright pieces accordingly, and indulge yourself in fall colors!
